Well acidizing is a common stimulation technique for maximizing the output of oil reservoirs. It helps to overcome low permeability wellbore by creating new flow channels or enlarging old ones. Corrosion challenge encountered during process since tubings are metallic. inhibitors defence mechanism used in mitigating corrosion problem acidizing. This review has identified and grouped into organic-, polymer-based. The performance these at temperatures ?60 °C acid concentration ?15 wt% considered. noted that greater percentage studies revolve round 60 °C. Above 100 °C, number scientific articles decreased considerably. Four classes intensifiers have been identified: formic acid, potassium iodide, copper antimony chloride. Their chemistries discussed. research gaps include (i) scanty information on ?150 (ii) limited natural polymers plant biomaterials as inhibitors, (iii) inhibition (v) composition products under conditions. Thus, recommendations future researches given.
